Sept. 23rd, 2015,  the international conference, "Civil Service and Public Governance in Lithuania and Central Europe: Development, Experiences and Best Practices,” was held on campus.

Academics from Estonia, Hungary, Latvia and Lithuania presented papers.

MRU Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Algirdas Monkevičius addressed gathered participants.

The event marked the 25th anniversary of Lithuania's independence.

The aim of the conference was to bring together researchers of public management from central Europe states and to exchange opinions about public management and the development of civil service in all countries.
