March 10th, 2020, the Mykolas Romeris University academic community marked Lithuania's Restoration of Independence holiday, which is celebrated on March 11th each year, with a series of events. In the morning, in MRU's Rotunda Hall, students and staff actively took part creating tri-coloured small windmills, a symbol of freedom, which will be "planted" on the University lawn. Later, the Lithuanian flag was raised kicking off more festive events. There was an opportunity to spend time with colleagues near the MRU bonfire as music played.
