Jan. 28th, 2020, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė awarded graduates of the Institute of Humanities, Institute of Psychology, and Institute of Educational Sciences and Social Work diplomas. About 55 graduates received diplomas during graduation ceremonies. MRU Rector Žalėnienė congratulated graduates. She quoted Mahatma Gandhi: Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions. Your actions become your habits. Your habits become your values. Your values become your destiny. Educational Sciences and Social Work Institute Director Prof. Valdonė Indrašienė congratulated graduates on behalf of all 3 Institutes and wished them well. MRU's Pop Vocal Group, led by Artūras Novikas, performed before the start of the ceremony. Among graduates of the Bachelor's Degree Social Work programme were students Taiwo Ayodele and Martins Ekene from Nigeria. On behalf of students, Psychology programme graduate Da Hye Kim addressed those gathered at the ceremony thanking profusely professors and academics for having reached this point in their lives. "A huge thanks to MRU" said the new graduate.
