April 27th, 2015, the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Women's Basketball Team won gold after defeating the Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) Team 62-42 in the Lithuanian Student Basketball League (LSKL) finals.

After a 4-year hiatus, the MRU Women's Team can finally celebrate their gold medals. They defeated last year's champions, the LSU Team.

The MRU team was coached by Algirdas Budėnas and basketball strategist Algirdas Paulauskas.

The top scorer was MRU Basketball player Greta Šniokaitė with 22 points. Eglė Šniokaitė scored 18 points and Ieva Šimkutė - 10 points.
