July 17th, 2015, at the closing of the "Science and the Art of Communication" Summer School at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), participants from Georgia said they gained skills, enjoyed beautiful, green Vilnius and plan to recommend the School to fellow students back home.
"It was helpful. I have gained some skills about marketing and about advertising," said Georgian Business Administration student Akaki Gumberitze from Tbilisi's State University.
He was one of the participants from Georgia and Belarus attending the School July 13-19th at MRU.
Student Natia Botkoveli from Georgia's Tbilisi State University and a journalist, said she will write an article about her experiences at the Summer School and Vilnius for the "Istoriani" publication in Georgia.
"What is most impressive are the parks here, the forests, that it's very green," said the 20-year-old student. It was her first visit abroad and to Lithuania.
"I like it very much. I felt Europe here. The people of Vilnius were very friendly. They have a warm, caring attitude towards us, from Georgia. It was very nice," said the young journalist.
"I will recommend to other students to come," Natia said. She said that "you don't feel that you are from another country here in Lithuania."
During the course of the School, students were acquainted with Ethics in Advertising, Multicultural Communication, and Marketing topics.
Gumberitze said the lecture by Aistė Žilinskienė, a journalist, was most interesting as she was "friendly, professional."
This year the Summer School was held for the 2nd time on the campus of Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius.
