Sept. 21st, 2015, expert Lorenzo Fenoglio from Italy presented the MEMORO seminar - "New Technologies' Application in Social Work."
It is part of the international Innovative Management and Educational Practices in Elderly Care Centres (INNOMEC) Grundtvig Project in the Lifelong Learning Programme financed by the European Commission.
The seminar was organized by the MRU Social Technologies Faculty's Institute of Educational Sciences and Social Work together with the Educational Technologies Laboratory.
INNOMEC was designed and is implemented by partners from Austria, Italy, Belgium, Lithuania, and Iceland.
The aim of the project is the improvement of key competences of Elderly Care Centres’ (ECC) staff through an “Agile Management” approach and peer-learning pathways among practitioners in order to provide better learning opportunities for individuals and communities.
The work process proposed is based on European best active aging practices and the solidarity between generations to foster and improve ageing policies and the involvement of elderly people in community life.
