The European Union in the 21st century comes face to face with social, economic, political and cultural challenges. Universities more and more become catalysts of public processes capable of identifying and (re)constructing processes in society, fostering society to participate in the future creation of Europe and the world. It is important to foster new educational processes, cooperation models, which for Europe's citizens and society would offer sustainable social, cultural, democratic and economic solutions.
Partners from 7 universities from France, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania and Romania took part in the meeting.
There were efforts to increase cooperation in various areas and to unite in organizing events, joint projects.
