On 25 January, Mykolas Romeris University hosted a graduation ceremony for bachelor's, master's and pedagogy professional studies graduates of the Faculty of Human and Social Studies. Documents certifying the completion of higher education were handed over to 71 students of the faculty, 22 of whom are foreign students. 51 graduates, whose studies were financed by the Vilnius City Municipality, obtained the professional qualification of a teacher.
Rector of MRU Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė and dean of the faculty Prof. Dr. Odeta Merfeldaitė while congratulating the graduates, wished that the experience gained in the MRU community would become a solid foundation on which they could build on and successfully move forward on their professional career path.
"I wish you, dear graduates, to use your wealth - knowledge and abilities - not only for your own benefit, but also for the benefit of the entire society and the progress of mankind," said MRU Rector Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė, wishing the graduates to open wide the windows to their future and the whole world, because the future is now in your hands.
Vice Mayor Donalda Meiželytė, the representative of MRU's social partner - Vilnius City Municipality, who also participated in the graduation ceremony, congratulated the graduates on the occasion of their graduation.
