Feb. 19th-21st, Delft University of Technology Prof. Dap Hartmann from the Netherlands lectured at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) to students of the Internet Management and Communication programmes.
Prof. Hartmann also met with doctoral students, editorial members of the "Socialinės technologijos" research journal and with "Social Technology" programme committee members.
An astronomer, Prof. Hartmann teaches a course, "Turning Technology into Business" at Delft University of Technology. This has resulted in a number of technology-based startups.
He is the recepient of the Delft Entrepreneurial Scientist Award in 2010.
"Entrepreneurship is important because it makes people self-reliant," Prof. Hartmann says in a video.
