On 29-31 August, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) hosted a delegation from the School of Law and Public Policy of Narxoz University (Kazakhstan): the Dean Prof. Dr. Talgat Sarsenbaev, the Vice-Dean Prof. Dr. Kulyash Aidarkhanova, and the Director of the International Development and Partnerships Office.
In meetings with the Rector of MRU Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėniene, representatives of the MRU Law School and other MRU faculties, the team of the School of Law and Public Policy presented the renewed and innovative studies, research and innovation activities of the represented university, as well as opportunities for cooperation in areas such as law and legal technologies, legal regulation of artificial intelligence and cyber security, mediation and alternative dispute resolution, public administration and psychology. The MRU School of Law and the School of Law and Public Policy at Narxoz University have been running a double degree Bachelor’s programme in Law and Global Security for several years now, which allows students from both countries to go to both universities to study. During the visit, the partners elaborated a draft of a new double degree Master’s programme in International Law.
