Nov. 9th, 2018, Economics and Business Faculty doctoral student Mindaugas Deksnys successfully defended his PhD dissertation, "Organizational Agility in High-Growth Companies.”

The dissertation investigated the factors influencing the level of an organisation's agility. They have been identified and it has been determined how to evaluate these levels of agility.

The first part of the dissertation analysed scientific literature, examines theoretical concepts of companies’ agility. A model to assess a company's agility level is proposed.

The second part of the dissertation raised three hypotheses and offered methodology to test them.

In the third part of the dissertation, the hypotheses were tested using the proposed methodology and, based on the calculations carried out, it is concluded that all three hypotheses were verified.

The dissertation's final part deals with conclusions, as well as the direction for further research.
