Sept. 24th, 2015, European-Asian Knowledge Consortium Social Technologies for Smart & Inclusive Society (SOCTECH) members, who had come to the MRU LAB opening ceremony, participated in a Council meeting.

The 2015 Strategic Action Plan was approved. Joint project financing opportunities were presented.

Members representing the following universities participated: Japan's Josai International University; Korea's Dongseo University (DSU); U.K. Middlesex University; Wroclaw University; Zagreb University; Užgorod National University.

Consortium members decided to organize the first Summer School in 2016.

SOCTECH is an umbrella organization uniting European and Asian universities and businesses seeking to implement the vision of smart and inclusive society via social technologies based innovations.
