June 9th, 2015, the conference, "Diaspora Professional Organizations - Possibilities for Lithuania," was held on campus.

It is part of a project being implemented by Mykolas Romeris University 2013-2015 along with partners - the "Social Innovation Institute," and "Global Lithuania Leaders."

MRU Public Administration Institute Assoc. Prof. Dangis Gudelis, closely involved in the project, addressed participants at the conference.

The conference acquainted participants with results of a survey of diaspora professionals and qualitative research results. There was consideration of the legal and social sphere of diaspora professionals and discussion about active tools, recommendations.

Lithuania's Foreign Affairs Department Head Gintė Damušytė attended the conference.
