March 2nd, 2017, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Communication Institute Head Prof. Gintaras Aleknonis signed a Cooperation Agreement with Journalist Ethics Inspector Gražina Ramanauskaitė-Tiumenevienė.

Both sides agreed to cooperate in the area of internships, student practice and mutual cooperation in areas of interest.

The mission of the Journalist Ethics Inspector is to ensure that public information is respectful of human rights and freedoms. It is to develop civil society and a critical approach to public information processes. It is to raise public legal awareness and the awareness of human rights. Also, it's to foster a sustainable relationship between public information producers and disseminators and the general public.
