Applications to Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Master's Degree programmes are up 30%. The number of students accepted to study at MRU is up 13%. The number of those who have signed agreements to study has increased 16,5% compared to 2019, results from the first stage of admissions indicates. The growing interest in Master's Degree studies shows that quality university studies provide additional benefits and possibilities in the job market. The STRATA Centre graduate monitoring data indicates that MRU Master's Degree studies graduates reach a rate of 90% of employment in highly-qualified job positions upon graduation. The average salary for such graduates, compared with those completing Bachelor's Degree programmes, is 25% higher. According to MRU Admissions Head Saulius Bugalilškis, those already in the job market and working often choose Master's Degree studies. They have more stringent requirements for qualitative studies and such interest indicates that MRU Master's Degree programmes are unique and oriented not only to theoretical, but also towards practical application. "The University aims not only to ensure a high-level of studies quality but also takes into account the needs of working students," said Bugailiškis. Most studies lectures are held after working-hours or on weekends. Remote online studies have been developed and also the possibility to take exams remotely," he added. "We understand that due to the global pandemic, there is much uncertainty, but the University plans to develop individual payment and studies schedules for students who have selected studies at MRU," he said. There is also the possibility to receive scholarships or have the first year tuition waived for students from the following countries: Argentina, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Colombia, Brazil and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
