Information about the Master’s study programme Management of Educational Technologies (specialisation Management in Schools) (national code 6211MX024), duration – 90 credits. The external evaluation body is the Centre for Quality Assessment of Studies. The programme is accredited by the Order of the Director of SKVC No SV6-18 of 14 April 2015 until 31 August 2021. In accordance with sub-paragraph 3.1 of Order V-835 of the Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania of 17 July 2019, all the study fields of study carried out by all HEIs shall be deemed accredited until they have been assessed and accredited in accordance with the procedure laid down in this Order. The accreditation of study programmes in the field of education is foreseen in the accreditation plan of the SKVC for the second half of 2025; therefore, it is assumed that the Educational Technology programme is accredited until 31 December 2025.
Expected results of the implementation of the Master’s study programme: the aim of the Master’s study programme in Educational Technology Management accredited by the Centre for Quality Assessment of Studies (specialisation – School Management) – to develop the managerial competence of Masters of Education in order to prepare specialists capable of designing and organising the content of educational activities in formal and non-formal education institutions – is in line with the objective set out in the description of the procedure of the competition for the implementation of partner programmes in the implementation of the Master’s degree programme in pedagogical personnel. All of the expected learning outcomes of the study programme are related to the competences specified in the Competence Framework for the Implementation of Masters Degree Programmes for Teaching Personnel Partners, which are recommended to be developed in the course of future studies. The ways and methods of assessing the learning outcomes are described in the descriptions of the programme of study and of the individual study subjects. All graduates of the Master’s degree programme in Educational Technology Management (specialisation: School Management) will be eligible for admission to the third cycle of studies. The qualification will provide graduates with wider opportunities for integration into the labour market and personal career development. Graduates will be able to work not only in research and pedagogical work related to innovation in educational processes in formal and non-formal educational institutions, but also in managerial coordination functions or in relevant positions.
