Aim of the project: The aim is to explain and summarise the basic terminology used to discuss the shadow economy and its components, to provide a systematic review of estimation methods, indicating their strengths and weaknesses, and to explore the reasons for the differences in estimates.

 

The project is carried out within the framework of the FCDO Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) programme “The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation”.
