On 9 May, let's celebrate Europe Day and the fact that in 1950 Europeans creatively thought about how to build lasting peace and reconcile neighbors. Lithuanians have enjoyed being part of the European Union for 20 years, but there are many other European nations that cannot enjoy peace because of war or dictatorship.
