On May 15, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) will host the traditional Celebration of Academic Thought. This event is dedicated to commemorating the 144th anniversary of the birth of Professor Mykolas Pijus Paskalis Romeris, the founder of Lithuanian constitutional law science.
Professor M. Romeris (1880–1945), after whom the university was named in 2004, was an exceptional figure and a Lithuanian patriot. His work left a lasting impact on the legal sciences of Lithuania, Poland, and Europe, as well as on the history of Lithuania’s statehood restoration.
