August 29th-31st, 2022, a 3-day free training course on "Media Literacy in the Baltics" will be held on the campus of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).
The Media Literacy training course will cover disinformation and how to recognize it in media and social networks. These are especially necessary competences that are useful to all readers and viewers. During the war in Ukraine, the need for such competencies has grown therefore you are invited to come and learn more by attending.
MRU, together with the U.S. State Department's financed education organization, IREX is implementing the "Media Literacy in the Baltics Programme." A new studies programme has been created titled, "New Media Communication and Journalism in the Era of Disinformation," (Naujųjų medijų komunikacija ir žurnalistika dezinformacijos eroje“). MRU students will be able to sign up for the studies programme from this fall, September.
This training course is free, but it is necessary to register. Participants will be served lunch.
