Nov. 12th, 2021, 10 a.m., Mykolas Romeris University's Faculty of Human and Social Studies' Educational Sciences and Social Work Institute together with Lithuania's Social Work Schools' Assn (LSDMA) is organizing a virtual remote conference, "Migration Today: How to Turn Challenges into Opportunities."

The Conference aims to discuss Lithuania's migration problems and what role in this situation do social workers play and the challenges they confront daily in working with migrants and how they are overcome and what are possibilities for cooperation. Together participants will look for answers to these problems and what social workers' policy may offer regarding resolutions. Other issues to be discussed include how to talk with others and challenges of intercultural communication. Also, the challenges of working in an ever-changing pandemic environment, COVID-19, will be addressed.

Links to the conference will be sent to all registered participants the evening before the Conference begins.

Conference participants will be issued certificates (only those, who have registered).
