Dec. 7th, 10:00 am, the art exhibition BLIZGĖS opens in the MRU Rotunda Hall. All invited.
We know that aluminum foil is most commonly used in the home, and even more so in the kitchen for cooking or freezing food. However, not everyone knows that foil can be used for artwork.
You will get acquainted with the art of foil in the exhibition, “Blizgės” of the day care center for the disabled. Acrylic and gilding techniques were used for these works of art, and a wide variety of items were found in the foil's embossed reliefs, which were closest to the hand: various costume jewelry (buttons, buckles, beads), wooden sticks, cardboard, crocheted napkins and other small items. under the foil sheets. The pupils of "Mažos guboja" have once again proved that their imagination is unlimited, that their unique creative possibilities are frameless, that the self-expression of these people is exceptional and individual.
We invite you to get acquainted with the works of folk art on display.
