Project title: „Developing student entrepreneurship and creativity in the Utena, Vilnius and Panevezys regions“.

Summary: Entrepreneurship and creativity development for students of social, biomedical and technological study programmes at Utena College, Mykolas Romeris University and Panevėžys College through team training with the participation of lecturers. The main activity of the Project is an interactive and practical entrepreneurship and creativity training, during which the participants will gain self-confidence, teamwork skills, learn to discover their own qualities of creativity and entrepreneurship and to use them to achieve their personal and professional goals in teams. The content of the development training is based on the work of D. Goleman’s emotional intelligence model and the Harvard Career Center’s B. Hollden’s methodology for better understanding one’s talents and the social entrepreneurship concept. Practical creativity and entrepreneurship skills will be developed by working with real services and products from real companies in the fields of transport, manufacturing, tourism and recreation, entertainment, health care and social welfare in the regions of Utena, Vilnius and Panevėžys, in teams focused on solving social problems in these regions. The training concludes with the Student Entrepreneurship and Creativity Competition “In corpore” and a final event to present, summarise and award the results. Project result – 135 students and 15 lecturers from the UK, MRU and SC will acquire and improve competences in entrepreneurship and creativity, social entrepreneurship, developed through learning and teamwork. Project participants will be able to become more employable in jobs requiring higher education, to focus their business initiatives not only on their own, but also on the creation of social welfare, creatively solving social problems of the region and local community.
