Summary: Project envisages to design a new, highly integrated, high-level, flagship, innovative, European and international joint 120-credit master’s degree program between selected higher education institutions in European Union (EU) and Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, on international trade, customs, logistics and supply chain (ITCLSC), through Academy of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, University of Customs and Finance in Ukraine, Dnipro, Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania, and University of Law and Administration – Rzeszow School of Law, Poland. ITCLSC follows Standards for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes (SQAJP) in the EHEA and directly strengthens EHEA internationalization in MA domain(s).The thematic area (ITCLSC), Lithuania and Poland are under-represented in Erasmus Mundus Catalogue. Planned joint MA program design specifically follows the standards and requirements of European Commission Recognition of Customs Academic Programmes; EU Reference Training Programs for Academic Customs Education; EU Customs Competency Framework, (CustComp), and Professional Standards of World Customs Organization (WCO). Know-how of ASCCA’s partner institutions in the non-EU countries (Korea’s Customs Human Resources Development Institute and China’s Shanghai Customs College), as well as the WCO PICARD and International Network of Customs Universities expertise, will be considered and used, in order to ensure that ITCLSC program’s European/EU/international academic design, curriculum and program structure also follows global standards, in addition to its European core. As a result, developed joint master’s degree program, which will be open to all countries and combine the professional training, will also be highly potentially recognizable by EU and WCO.

The project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus ERASMUS-EDU-2023-EMJM-DESIGN programme.
