Country Specific Requirements

Important information before applying:

  • To apply for Undergraduate/Bachelor’s studies at our university, you must meet all national higher education entry requirements as specified by your country (e.g., national examination). If these criteria are not met, applicants may be excluded from consideration or required to take an entrance exam, depending on the specific country requirements. Eligibility is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • To apply for Postgraduate/Master’s level studies from the continents of Africa, the Americas and Australia, applicants must ensure that their academic transcripts are sent directly from their previous educational institution. Transcripts should be submitted either via email to recognition@mruni.eu or by post to Mykolas Romeris University Student Admission Centre, Ateities str. 20, LT-08303 Vilnius, Lithuania. If sending by post, transcripts must be in a sealed and stamped envelope to be considered valid.
  • If you obtained your secondary education in an International secondary school that is following the British, American or French curriculum (adapted education system), please see qualification and document requirements for the United Kingdom, United States or France.

Albania

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Diplomë e Maturës Shteteröre;
  2. Certifikatë Maturës Shtetërore.

Algeria

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

Baccalauréat de lEnseignement Secondaire, الثانوي التعليم بكالوريا شهادة.

Armenia

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Mijnakarg Yndhanur Krtoutian Attestat;
  2. Document of Unified State Examination Results (Единые госэкзамены) for admission to higher education institutions in Armenia.

Azerbaijan

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Orta təhsil haqqżnda attestat;
  2. Official results of the state examination for admission to higher education institutions in Azerbaijan organized by TQDK or DIM. (minimum score 200 out of 700) or documents attesting post-secondary education of at least one year at a higher education institution.

Please note that all documents issued in Azerbaijani should be supplemented with an official translation into English or Russian. Bangladesh

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Higher Secondary Certificate;
  2. Academic Transcript of the Higher Secondary Certificate;
  3. Secondary School Certificate;
  4. Academic Transcript of the Secondary School Certificate.

Important:

  • Provisional Certificates are only accepted if the applicant has graduated in the last 2 years;
  • Alim Examination does not grant access to study at Mykolas Romeris University;
  • Backgrounds that are not in the fields of humanities or science cannot be considered for studies at Mykolas Romeris University;
  • Backgrounds that are of a professional profile or business studies can only be considered for business studies at Mykolas Romeris University;
  • Backgrounds of technical or vocational of a narrow specialization can apply for study programs related to the acquired qualification only;
  • Diploma in Engineering will not grant access to study at Mykolas Romeris University.

Belarus

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Atestat (атэстат аб агульнай сярэдняй адукацыi);
  2. A letter issued by the school providing information on the results of the passed school leaving examinations.

Cameroon

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

Anglophone system:

  1. Original General Certificate of Education (ordinary and advanced levels);
  2. The official statement of General Certificate of Education (ordinary and advanced levels) e-mailed from official GCE Board email address to recognition@mruni.eu or posted directly to Mykolas Romeris University, Ateities str. 20 LT-08303 Vilnius, Lithuania, Lithuania by Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board in a sealed and stamped envelope;
  3. Documents attesting to any periods of post-secondary education (if any).

Francophone system:

  1. Baccalauréat de l’Enseignement Secondaire;

Colombia

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  2. ICFES Saber 11° results;
  3. Academic Transcript;
  4. High school transcript scanned and e-mailed from official school email address to recognition@mruni.eu or ask your school to post paper copy directly to Mykolas Romeris University (International Admissions, Ateities str. 20, 08303 Vilnius, Lithuania).

China

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate issued jointly by the school and local department of education;
  2. Academic transcript for the last three years issued by the school;
  3. Verification report in English for the Huikao or the new Academic Proficiency Test (Xueye Shuiping Ceshi/Kaoshi) results issued by CHESICC (https://www.chsi.com.cn/);
  4. Verification report in English for the Chinese National University Entrance Examination (GaoKao) issued by CHESICC (https://www.chsi.com.cn/).

Congo (Democratic Republic of)

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Diplome d’Etat (original);
  2. Bulletin for the last 3 years of schooling with examination results included (original).

Egypt

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanawiyya al-A’aamaI) as issued in Arabic;
  2. Official General Secondary Education Certificate examination results completed after 12 years of education indicating all the subjects and grades earned issued in English and by the Ministry of Education and legalized by the Lithuanian Embassy in Egypt https://eg.mfa.lt/en (original).

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  2. Results of the Unified National Examinations (Ertiani Erovnuli Gamocdebi) or documents attesting post-secondary education of at least one year at a higher education institution.

Ghana

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Original WAEC or NECO Senior Secondary Certificate (please note that we do not accept certificates issued by third parties, such as schools);
  2. Result Checker Card’s serial number and pin code for us to be able to check your examination results online at ghana.waecdirect.org;
  3. Official Academic Transcript of Higher Education Qualification (post- secondary education or Bachelor studies of at least one year workload);
  4. Official Academic Transcript (original or certified true copy) scanned and e-mailed from official university registrar’s email address to recognition@mruni.eu or posted directly to the Mykolas Romeris University (International Admissions, Ateities str. 20, LT-08303 Vilnius, Lithuania) in a sealed and stamped envelope.

India

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Secondary school (X) certificate with mark sheet;
  2. Apostilled original senior secondary (XII) examination certificate with mark sheet.

Important: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Information Technology will not grant you access to Undergraduate/Bachelor’s level studies at Mykolas Romeris University

Israel

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Teudat bagrut (תעודת בגרות);
  2. Results of the final state examination.

  3. A document issued by the school and providing information on the following:
  • detailed grades of final examination (grades by subjects);
  • marks obtained at the end of the last year of schooling (e.g.Pagella scolastica).

Nigeria

  1. WAEC or NECO Senior School Certificate; Please note that we do not accept certificates issued by third parties, such as schools;
  2. Scratch Card serial number and pin code for us to be able to check your examination results online. Your results have to be available at www.waecdirect.org or www.mynecoexams.com/results/;
  3. Official Academic Transcript of Higher Education Qualification (post- secondary ND or Bachelor studies of at least one year workload);
  4. Norway

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Vitnemål for videregående opplæring;

Pakistan

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Higher Secondary School Examination Certificate attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (original);
  2. Higher Secondary School Examination Certificate Statement of Marks attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (original);
  3. Secondary School Examination Certificate attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC);
  4. Secondary School Examination Certificate Statement of Marks attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Important: Diploma of Associate Engineer will not grant you access to Undergraduate/Bachelor’s level studies at Mykolas Romeris University.

Philippines

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Diploma supplemented with an Authentication Certificate issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs;
  2. Secondary Student’s Permanent Record (Form 137-A) supplemented with an Authentication Certificate issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Important: Holders of the 10-year high school diploma (2018-2019 school year and earlier) will not have access to Undergraduate/Bachelor’s level studies at Mykolas Romeris University.

Poland

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Świadectwo Dojrzałości;
  2. Świadectwo ukończenia.

Russia

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

South Korea

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. High School Certificate (고등학교 졸업장, Godeung Hakgyo Jolupjang);
  2. Academic Transcripts;
  3. Certificate of Graduation and Academic Transcript issued in English and scanned and e-mailed from official previous education institution’s registrar’s email address to recognition@mruni.eu or posted directly to the Mykolas Romeris University (International Admissions, Ateities str. 20, LT-08303 Vilnius, Lithuania) in a sealed and stamped envelope.
  4. Results of the Korean College Scholastic Ability Test (if you have not taken the test, you should notify us).

United States

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Diploma;

International Baccalaureate

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. Diploma of the International Baccalaureate;
  2. International Baccalaureate programme results certificate sent to MRU from IB;

GED testing

For Undergraduate/Bachelor‘s level studies:

  1. High School Equivalency Credential awarded after passing the GED test (The minimum acceptable score is 165);
  2. Official GED Transcript.

Cameroon

For Postgraduate/Master’s level studies:

  1. Bachelor’s degree diploma;
  2.
