Gravitas Schola welcomes the new school year at MRU

On 2nd September, Gravitas Schola welcomed the new school year at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). The school was founded in Vilnius 2 years ago for children who fled the war in Ukraine. One of the school's branches is also located in the premises of MRU.

The pupils were greeted by the school's director Agnė Klimčiauskaitė-Janavičienė, Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Asanavičiūtė, and the Rector of the MRU, Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė.

The Rector addressed the Gravitas Schola community and expressed her hope that the students would keep the best possible memories of the school and the meaningful time spent in Vilnius, MRU.

"We want you to feel at home with us. We will do everything we can to help you achieve your dreams, to help the Ukrainian people who are fighting bravely for the freedom and prosperity of their country."

The school has a total enrolment of 450 pupils, 176 of them in the premises of the University. Masha Shapalova, a graduate of Gravitas Schola, has chosen to study Brand and Advertising Management in Lithuanian at MRU from this September.
