Michał Pius Römer (Mykolas Romeris) was born in 1880. He was the founder of Lithuanian constitutional law, professor at University of Lithuania, public figure, publicist, and just a man. All this activity and endless energy is revealed through his books and his every day meticulously written diary.
To mark the 144th anniversary of his birth, we are presenting his most important works and several books about him in the Grand Reading Room. There you can find a unique publication - the 10 volumes of his diary translated into Lithuanian - an inexhaustible source of history and personal experience in the first half of 20th century.
