The aim of the project: will be to identify necessary and sufficient due diligence requirements in corporate governance that are consistent with the need for sustainability of corporate activities, in the context of the duties of members of the management body, investor involvement, stakeholder interests, value chains, and to propose solutions and legislative policies to regulate and enforce these issues more effectively. The study will seek to propose sufficient legal instruments that could be implemented in the company legislation of various countries, including Lithuania, to reorient business from an economic profit orientation to a social benefit orientation.
