The aim of the project: to investigate the significance of creative heritage placemaking and its effective applicability on a broader scale in strengthening Vilnius City brand. The literature of foreign and Lithuanian authors is used for the analysis. The methods chosen for the empirical research are: qualitative content analysis, expert interviews and quantitative research – a survey to analyse the relationship between the local (and not only) community the involvement of the local community in educational, expressive and creative local cultural activities, which enable them to get to know the city better and change the social and physical aspects of the city and branding the city for both the local community and foreign tourists.
