Summary: The aim of the project is to publicise and disseminate the results of scientific research and experimental development in Lithuania and abroad by publishing scientific periodicals in order to strengthen the competences of scientists and other researchers.

The target group of the Project is scientists and researchers, including members of editorial boards of periodical scientific publications and reviewers.In 2016-2018, 47 Lithuanian periodicals of the highest scientific level and significance will be published (426 issues in total), which were selected by an expert committee of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania, and the Lithuanian Science Council. The selected publications are in various fields of science: 4 – biomedical sciences, 2 – agricultural sciences, 6 – physical sciences, 19 – humanities, 14 – social sciences, and 2 – technological sciences. To ensure the quality and originality of the content of the publications, the articles will be checked for quality, originality and authorship.

Result to be achieved: Lithuanian scientists and researchers will improve their competences, strengthen their collaboration with other scientists, engage in scientific debates and joint projects, and thus advance science and technology, by providing favourable conditions for publicising and disseminating the results of their research and experimental development, as well as for getting to know the work of other scientists.

The project is funded by the European Social Fund under Measure No. 09.3.3-ESFA-V-711 “Capacity Building for Scientists and other Researchers”.
