Dec. 16th, 2016, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Law Faculty Dean Prof. Lyra Jakulevičienė and Lithuania's General Prosecutor Evaldas Pašilis signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement will strengthen ties between both institutions and encourage institutional cooperation organizing conferences, seminars and lectures as well as joint international and national projects. In addition, both parties agreed to cooperate in the area of publishing legal publications and student internships. According to Law Faculty Dean Jakulevičienė, when preparing students for the law profession, the interest of legal institutions are taken into account. I believe that closer cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office will help to better understand these needs and to help law students after graduation, she said.
