Sept. 22nd, 2016, at MRU's LAB facility, the conference, "Nonviolent Communication in Educational Institutions," was held.
The aim of the conference was to present information about the project, "Lithuania's Education System Employees' Non-Violent Communication Competency Development" (financed by the 2009-2014 European Ecomomic Sphere Financing Mechanism funds grants program LT08 EEE Stipend Programme) prepared by MRU Psychologists.
The work and research of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) psychologists was presented.
MRU Prof. Rita Bandzevičienė and MRU Prof. Aistė Diržytė delivered the Welcome Address.
During the conference Prof. Bandzevičienė presented a paper, "Non-Violent Communication: What Is It?"
From October of 2016, MRU in conjunction with project manager UAB "Vadybos ir psichologijos institutu," will begin to prepare workshop sessions on non-violent communication. Employees of Lithuania's Education system will be invited to these sessions.
