June 8th-9th, 2016, Europe for Business Ltd conducted a 2-day training session at Mykolas Romeris University's MRU LAB so that MRU researchers and scientists could get full insight into the Horizon 2020 Research & Innovation programme.

The objective of the training course was to bridge the gap between research and innovation and put knowledge into practice.

Direct experience was shared so MRU scientists and researchers could learn more about Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme.

The training course was prepared and designed taking into account the specific needs of Lithuania and challenges facing Lithuanian society.

Participants expressed interest in the Horizon 2020 programme. Moreover, lively discussions provided a strong basis to start to develop project ideas during the interactive H2020 workshop.

In the future it is hoped that some ideas will be funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme.
