April 26th, 2016, MRU Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius welcomed Lithuania's Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius to Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) LAB.

Butkevičius toured the MRU LAB facilities and visited several laboratories on campus.

Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Dr. Inga Žalėnienė greeted Prime Minister Butkevičius as well.

During the visit, he toured the Security Laboratory and the Educational Technologies Laboratory as well as met with academics and staff.

Butkevičius was at the opening of the new MRU LAB building (Didlaukio g. 55) in September 2015, when he helped cut the official red ribbon.
