Discussion: NATO Before the Warsaw Summit – April 19th

April 19th, 2016, Germany's Bundestag Deputy Defense Committee Chairman Dr. Karl A. Lamers discussed, "NATO Before the Warsaw Summit," with Seimas parliament members Gediminas Kirkilas and Andrius Kubilius participating.
The discussion, in English, was moderated by MRU Politics and Management Faculty Dean Assoc. Prof. Virginijus Valentinavičius.
Lamers said there are two new developments facing Europe currently: build-up of Russia's military capacity on the ground and in the air and hybrid warfare.
"It's a massive propaganda campaign," Dr. Lamers pointed out.
"NATO take the threat of hybrid warfare very seriously," he added.
He spoke to a packed audience at Mykolas Romeris University that included Ambassadors and many distinguished guests. There was a question and answer session following the official discussion.
