Research Journal “Societal Studies” Dedicates Volume to Philosopher Ohio Univ Prof. Emeritus Mickūnas

Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) periodic research journal "Societal Studies" 7 (1) volume has been dedicated to the esteemed professor, MRU's honorary doctor and U.S. Ohio University Prof. Emeritus Algis Mickūnas who recently marked his 80th jubilee birthday.

The volume, published in English, has a dedication to Prof. Mickūnas written by R. Bubelis titled, "About Algis Mickūnas."

It includes articles and comments about the esteemed professor by his colleagues, friends and those residing in the U.S. including his student and now Professor Joseph Pillota, Russell J. Cook, John W. Murphy.

There are also research texts by European and Lithuanian academics about various individual and institutional access to realities and the flow of ideas, religion, literature, media and those from the university sphere.

At the end of the volume there is an article by a doctoral student from Ukraine on the understanding of intellectual property in court systems.

All of the articles in the volume are representative of a dialogue with an idea, with insights about the world around us and ourselves.
