Feb. 26th, 2016, (Friday), Ohio University Prof. Emeritus philosopher Algis Mickūnas presented a lecture, "The World and Language: Speaking in Lithuanian" (Pasaulis ir kalba: lietuviškai kalbant").

The event is part of a series of lectures marking Lithuanian Language Days that are being held throughout Lithuania Feb. 16 - March 11th, 2016.

In 2012 Prof. Mickūnas was the recepient of an honorary MRU Degree.
