Jan. 25th, 2016, at a farewell dinner in Vilnius, Indonesia's Ambassador to Lithuania Prof. Dr. Bonar Pasaribu thanked Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) for development of bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Indonesia.

The Ambassador, residing in Copenhagen and completing his term, wished MRU success further developing partnerships.

MRU Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Dr. Inga Žalėnienė was one of the invited guests at the farewell dinner.

So far MRU has signed cooperation agreements with Bogor Agricultural University (BAU), the University of Indonesia (UI), and with Petra Christian University.

Ambassador Prof. Dr. Pasaribu was instrumental in facilitating the signing of a bilateral agreement with BAU in October of 2015, his alma mater.

MRU in the future hopes to organize conferences, joint events and possibly summer schools with the partner universities in Indonesia.
