During the Christmas season in December 2015, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) received Christmas and New Year's greetings from friends, partners, fellow academics and others from Lithuania and abroad.

Some of those who sent greetings included Seimas Chairman Loreta Graužinienė, Seimas Deputy Chairman Vydas Gedvilas, European Parliament member Valentinas Mazuronis, European Parliament member Petras Auštrevičius, Justice Minister Juozas Bernatonis, Interior Minister Saulius Skvernelis, and Lithuania's Supreme Court Chairman Rimvydas Norkus.

In addition Seimas Deputy Chairmen Irena Degutienė and Gediminas Kirkilas sent greetings along with Seimas members Julius Sabatauskas, Raimundas Paliukas, Artūras Skardžius, and Valerijus Simulik.

Municipality mayors from all over Lithuania sent greetings along with social partners, and sports organizations. Representatives from universities, colleges, gymnasiums and schools sent holiday greetings also.

Ambassadors residing in Lithuania wished MRU well.

Colleagues and partners from Belarus, China, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Poland, South Korea, Turkey, Ukraine sent their warmest wishes. This is a nice reminder about the importance of partnerships with universities abroad.
