MRU Delegation Visited Univ in Ružomberok, Slovakia

Nov. 23rd-27th, 2015, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) academics and staff visited Slovakia's Catholic University in Ružomberok as part of “The European Eastern University" project.
It is implemented in conjunction with Polish universities: Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, the Catholic University of Lublin and the Lublin University of Technology, as well as Lublin's Municipality.
MRU and Slovakia's Catholic University in Ružomberok are the two foreign universities in the project, which is co-financed from EU funds under the Erasmus + Programme.
University representatives from three countries in Slovakia have been in discussion about future cooperation plans and exchanging ideas and good practices.
The European Eastern University project is being implemented from Sept. 1st, 2014 to Aug. 31st, 2016.
Aim of the project is to promote Lublin, Poland, as an academic city and to establish cooperation between the Lublin Municipality and the universities.
