Nov. 3rd, 2015, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Social Technologies Faculty Master's Degree students participated in a "Postcard History" event at the MRU Lifelong Learning Lab.

They were joined by senior citizen students from the Medardas Čobotas Third Age University.

The MRU students presented the history of postcards from 1869, the year it's believed the first postcard appeared in the then Austrian-Hungarian Empire, up to today, when e-postcards have become popular.

Students also prepared an example of an electronic postcard. Senior citizen students told of the postcards sent when they were students and what type of postcards were popular back then.

The event was organized according to the Lifelong Learning project, "INNOMEC - Innovative Educational Practice in Institutions for the Elderly."
