July 7th-28th, 2015, three Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) students attended the Summer School, "Asia Summer Program 2015," at Japan's Josai University.

The MRU students, who attended the School, were: MRU graduate and Psychology major Julija Švec; Criminal Law and Criminology Master's Degree student Dovydas Slabys; and Social Work Bachelor's Degree student Shierly Angelina Sungkono.

The MRU students are the only ones from Europe and Lithuania, therefore they shoulder the burden of representing and presenting MRU and Lithuania, its traditions and cultural heritage.

Students from China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea and other Asian countries also attended the international Summer School.

At the Summer School, students participated in debates, roundtable discussions and listened to lectures by professors from Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and the U.S.

Students also had the chance to become more closely acquainted with contemporary Japanese management systems, the economy, and public sector structural tendencies. They could also study Japanese language and learn about Japanese arts.

Various excursions and cultural events were planned for those attending.
